Thread: Patch 1.21 - March 6th~9th?

This delay comes as absolutely no surprise to me

This will have a total of 3 weeks delay from the original Mid Feb.

Also understand that due the 3 weeks delay here it is highly likely the next patch will be +3 weeks from their 2.0 prediction because the 3 weeks delay on this patch is 3 weeks they havent had on the next patch, so dont get your testis in a knot when from now on most predictions will be delayed slightly.

The delay for 1.20 wasn't three weeks. So that really doesn't add up :P Most of these patches are developed in parallel by multiple teams. Same goes for 2.0. Based on what I've read previously, the delays mostly sound like its due to the QA process that is on going. And personally would you rather the patch be released buggy and/or incomplete? SE likely views 1.21 in the same light that most of the community does, that it will make or break the game. Personally I'd rather take a delay and have them be absolutely sure that everything is working as intended. Remember this lack of patience is what lead to the horrible launch for XIV.

I for one am pleased that SE is going to released it when ready. March 6th/9th is not far off.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. People always come back when a new patch is released.

everyone was saying end of feb for patch! I kept saying nope I bet it will be 2nd week of March! Guess I wasn't to far off xD
