Alright, one week until 4.5. Everybody got everything they need? Scrpts maxed, gear melded, food made, books bought? I wanna be SET for the final crafting set for stormblood!

The best we're gonna see is a new custom delivery client + maybe more primal crafted weapons.
we already have the final crafting/gathering set.
Primal weapons could be nice. HW and ARR have lots of glowing Primal weapons and so far in SB we've just had... more HW weapons.
Tbh I'm just expecting the usual, a Seiryu furniture item, barding pet and a small handful of furniture/glam. So, not particularly hyped.
They didn't come out and specifically say that there wouldn't be another set of crafting gear, but we are just over 6 months away from the expansion that will bring a lvl increase and there will be no further combat ilvl increase with the final savage being released so making another set would be pointless.
I may be wrong, but wasn't that put in the end of HW as a type of easier to make catch up gear since many considered HW crafting fairly hard?
They didn't even up the difficulty much of the current combat gear from the last tier of it, even higher crafting stats would be overkill, and this is from someone that can't be bothered to make that stuff.
The blue set in HW (Ironworks) was the final crafting set and was part of the normal progression. At the same time they added in Carbonweave, a green set, that was between Ironworks and the prior set that was aimed at more casual crafters. Any serious crafter skipped Carbonweave and went right to Ironworks, though.
We probably won't be seeing a new crafted set. If we get upgrades, we might get something like the Thavnairian Rain used to upgrade the 350 gear, but I wouldn't hold your breath. With there being no new tier of raiding, there's no need to add a new ilvl of combat gear, which is usually what drives crafting difficulty.
Plus, progression was kind of silly this time anyways. I didn't enjoy getting only half a set and I hope they go back to HW's model of crafting upgrades as it just felt better overall.
