Adding a new sub form for suggestions to improve FFXIV in general

I have a suggestion to help with future problem similar to mine. I made a post in a nother forum and I will copy it here.

I had two players harass a party member because they were having a hard time with the last boss mechanics. They actually degraded this player. When I reported this harassment to the support desk they did nothing because "I was not the one who was offended." I feel that this is a huge problem that needs to be dealt with! No matter who reports this kind of behavior, it need to be addressed! By the way their second reply to me was to post on the forms with what happened and suggest fixes so I am. One fix is that a GM should be able to take any report of harassment and investigate the claim. If it is a merited claim then it should be handled appropriately. I know the GMs are very busy and many factors have to be considered for any report. I just wish that Square-Enix will consider this and make some changes to how a report can be handled. I do not care about the two harassers, they are just two people somewhere on the planet who just had a bad attitude within the game and think that since they were on a different server would not have consequences for their actions. This is just the ugly beast that is the internet. I hope this counts for this forum and if not just please delete and let me writing this be my vent of the problem. Thanks, Squirrel Fist

I've had this happen a few times and got that generic response from SE, but don't let that deter you. If you still feel whatever happened is disrupting your gameplay regardless of who was the original target, respond back to SE and tell them that. Just say it still effected you (and your experience) and whether you want any action taken or not, that you hope SE will at least keep it as a record in case anyone else in the same duty also made a report, thus they can correlate the information to investigate further.

Thank you for your comment. I asked the person involved to make a support desk as well. I know I will not get any information after this since I was not the person directly involved, but this really did impact my game play as well. I just hope Square-Enix will see the posts I have made and make changes to the better. thank you Kurando for your kind words of encouragement.
