Doubt it's something SE will ban over. Yeah, it sucks, but it is what it is. I don't have the luxury of having a partner or other person who can hit accept on the duty for me if I step away for anything (and I've lost more than one queue pop because of it... especially annoying after waiting like 90 minutes for it!), but again, I don't see the issue here. Is it [i]technically]/i] against ToS? Certainly. Are SE gonna do anything about it? Unlikely. I mean look at their stance on parsers (and visual mods, and potentially peripheral lighting mods too). So long as you aren't using them to harass or belittle other players, you're fine.

This, is where it goes too far. And this is why I'm a bit annoyed. Yeah, reporting is fine IMO, if you suspect illicit activity. Heavens knows I'm very quick to report myself if I catch wind of if I've done anything potentially wrong. But he's trying to get their XP removed etc, which is where it goes too far.

If that is indeed the case then fair enough, but I can see why others would see it as wanting the "cheater's" XP removed. That was how I originally perceived it. But to answer the question if that is what he meant, no you can't do anything about it.

Reporting someone for passing the controller is probably the most petty and uncouth actions I can imagine. The GMs have enough on their plate with legitimate harassment and bot activity to deal with already.

Next time before reporting consider the following. Does the players actions negatively affecting the game as a whole (rmt, bottling, etc)? Is the players actions malicious in any way (were they intentionally messing with you)? Is anyone getting hurt irl?

If your concerns don’t check any of the above, block them and move on. Not only are you wasting the GMs time but putting other players at risk with frivolous suits.

TLDR: if they’re not shouting ‘buy gil here’ or throwing slurs at you. It’s not worth reporting.

I had my brother take over healing on my character in wow one time while doing a DS LFR raid because I had to go to the bathroom REALLY bad and didn't want to AFK. I don't really think that is even worth reporting, and seems somewhat petty?
