I think he doesn't mind PLing, and that's not a big deal. The big deal is how fast you can level even in a party that isn't getting power-leveled. I don't care if he changes power leveling, I like to help my friends; I just want them to adjust either EXP rates or Monster difficulty. Honestly, I feel it should be a combination of both. I remember a while back Yoshi-P DID say something about changing it so that mobs would take about 30-45 seconds to fight -each-.

Okay, let's assume that they do change it. Outside of possibly it taking a little longer for parties. How does that stop PLs from spamming everyone to 50 in a flash? What's it going to take? Two Firagas instead of one? I never cared about XIs form of PLing (Healing from the outside only) but XIVs version is game breaking.

Yeah, I feel the same. I'm all for helping out my friends when they need help in the form of killing mobs too tough for them - whether it's to get them caught up or for a quest, etc. However, the ability to PL as you currently can in this game is just... man...stupid.

I see your point. I have to admit I was overly concerned with PLing when it came out when I saw what it could do. What I meant mainly was the "idea" of PLing. I don't really care if a friend decides to help another friend. You're right. In it's current state it can be abused just as badly as a full exp party on drugs, so I agree it should be changed. However, the inherent problem is that it supplements the already too-fast exp system. BECAUSE we exp so quickly is one of the main reasons as to why the current PLing is so dangerous. It takes what is already over-done and doubles it.

That's just my opinion, but I do agree it can be game breaking.
