    So you are okay with watching scenes out of order, skipping over chunks entirely, having to see the ending before the rest of the media in question, and so on.

    Imagine then any movie you try to watch get's fast forwarded to the end so you have to watch that first, then go back to random sections and watch them out of order, because that's totes okay right? I mean, turnabout is fair play.

    Same deal with books, flip to the last page and make you read that first, then jump back and read chapters out of order.

    Or any other form of media you might care for.

    Sounds like fun right? Not immersion breaking at all.
    Totally nothing wrong with it, nope sir.

    It should also be noted that first time experiences count for a lot.
    Intentionally ruining that for people is a major jerk move.
    First impressions tend to linger.
