I disagree with the mindset of justifying something against the rules because it wasn't designed to your preferences. I fully agree with feedback on the cutscenes (it's ridiculous it applies to unsynced runs for example) but breaking ToS and ruining the experience for new players doesn't sort anything.
Sure, I don't have a problem with punishing those who say they're exploiting out loud, it'll be similar to how they punish parser abuse then, but I really doubt they'd ever investigate deliberate dc'ing in cutscenes. They don't even investigate all the RMT bot guilds that are everywhere, it'd be way out of whack if they investigated people dc'ing versus something that can be proved beyond a reasonable doubt like RMT.
