They increased the incentives for people doing the Main Scenario Roulette and if it becomes a problem of people not doing it, they will likely just bump up the rewards again.

As a solution, I'm sure they could implement a sort of check once a cutscene has completed, so if you disconnected beforehand, it would just start the cutscene over again.
But that is a problem. Before, I'd rarely seen tank queues lasting more than 8-10 minutes for the MSQ roulette. I tried queuing up for it multiple times this past month, as all three roles, and the queues were rarely less than a 30m wait. And I am on Aether. That is a problem. The fact that the devs haven't acknowledged that maybe they overshot it is a problem as well. But for the sake of argument, let's say that I will concede on the point about queuing for MSQ through the DF.

That fact that cutscene restriction is still in place for PF parties, even unsynced, is absolutely ridiculous. Rewards mean jack if people don't want to waste an hour watching 4-year old cutscenes over and over again. The incentives, high as they are now, still don't justify waiting in the queue for a long time and then wasting a full 45-minutes to an hour going through the MSQ. They never should've put the restriction to apply to the PF, especially unsynced parties - because unsynced parties was kind of the point before the devs changed it - pick up new players and let them enjoy the runs at their own pace while others cleared out the dungeon for them.

As you can see right now, it's a miserable system. If the devs insist on keeping it, they need to at least consider pulling the restriction away from the PF.

About the system check thing, that's likely to irritate more than improve the situation.
