Exclamation Griefers in (particularly Ranked) Feast

This is my first forum post. I am so annoyed by this issue that I have gone so far as to come to this foreign-to-me place and post about it. I really hope to get the attention of GM's, anybody who can make changes in the game based on community feedback.

Griefing in Feast is WAY more rampant than any of us fully understand.
Lately, and throughout my PvP career in general, but particularly lately, I've seen many people throw games by simply standing and doing nothing. Sometimes they're as bold as to emote /playdead. Sometimes they run around and tease-cast, and interrupt it to continue being useless. Apparently boosting is a thing that happens frequently too. And it doesn't stop. I see the same people playing and pulling the same antics I saw them doing weeks ago again and again. Is there no end? Are my countless GM calls and reports in vain?

Part of the problem is people don't report it enough when they see it. As always, there are those who do not feel the need to speak up, but it actively harms the community and the integrity of rankings in The Feast. People who throw commonly tend to be within the top 100 for their datacenter. I don't understand it, (though I suppose I never will) but it needs to be taken much more seriously if anything is going to change. Yes, we, as players need to report more when we see it. But also, Square and GM's need to take this more seriously. There are people I know me and others have reported previously who still pull the stuff they were reported for. I've even talked to GM's who acknowledge the issue, and then I still see these people (who have been reported multiple times!) doing the same thing! The punishment needs to be more severe! These players who are repeat offenders seriously have no business being ranked if they are going to act in such a way that harms everyone else! Is being removed from their ranked positions possible in the case of griefers? Not only as deterrence to those who would, but to prevent it from happening entirely? (Being unranked significantly decreases the amount of games they can get matched for, but also prevents them from receiving awards associated with such ranks.) For real, this needs to be taken more seriously!!!!

Because the player base for Feast is so small, the few number of griefers have a remarkably large effect on the gameplay of everyone else who participates. It's not uncommon to get matched with the same people game after game, so when there is a griefer playing, it's just one ruined game after another. There's nothing you can do to avoid it except stop playing.

With regards to account boosting, there is one player in particular who sells boosts and has landed about 6 or 7 accounts in the top 10 of Aether and Primal all by themselves. Dealing with that one player would be a huge boon to everyone who takes part in Feast. Just a few accounts are ruining the enjoyment of hundreds of others. It would be great if the GM's could look into the issues facing the Feast community.

There's been a single player terrorizing the queues for the past week throwing matches on Primal.

Also, one particular player who boosts accounts, and has since I started (season 9). Which is basically accepted in the pvp community at this point. Pretty sad.

Yup and I’m sure I know exactly who you’re talking about! Not just them either, though! And I report that person every time it happens and I know others do too. They must not be taking the reports very seriously. Please, GM’s! This stuff isn’t acceptable

It's why I stopped taking part in ranked PvP back when Garo came out I'd que on the weekends usually around 11-1am with my buddies and we'd run into people who were farming their friends, whenever they'd get matched with us they'd just AFK and wait 5-10 mins before queing again. Since they were the only 2/6 teams queing up that late we got them more than I would of liked and it really feels terrible when you report it multiple times and nothing is done, to put it lightly people who get reported don't get in any kind of trouble. All they have to say is "i'm teaching my friends how to PvP!" and the GMs will usually go okay nvm then! It's how so many people (and the same people mind you) are all getting the same items/mounts every season and even more suspicious people who aren't in an FC and people who are in FCs that have 1-4 people.

This has been an ongoing issue and they just keep pumping out rewards for people to win trade over and over that also enables griefers because PvP or any kind of competition in this game is a joke, SE will never acknowledge their faults, I have seen the same guy on Leviathan who literally win trades with the same people for a number of seasons and nothing has been done.

Same situation in Chaos. Don't even care if I drop out the top 100 at this point half of #chaos-post-game in WPD has reported him by this point and he's STILL playing and being the ultimate gatekeeper. Allow that fam.

YIKES and I was unaware of what could be happening in non NA datacenters. Big yikes. SE needs to get their game together on these people
And in my honest opinion, if things remain this way, where queues are dead anyway and people are being manipulated up the ass the next few days, as we have been already, anyone who was in 100 before dark week should just get the recognition for it because eff this
EXCEPT THE OFFENDERS OF COURSE REMOVE THEM for god’s sake
