Best ways of leveling alt jobs?

    Hi,
sorry, maybe stupid question from a returning player: how do you level (possibly fast) alt. jobs/classes from 60 to 70?
Last time it was daily hunting, doing the dungeons fitting for that level and daily tribe quests and dungeon roulettes.
Is there something more that was added in the time I didn't play other than that?

Is the new Palace of the Dead (Heaven-on-high) now an option to level? Since I just recently yesterday unlocked it.

I found it pretty fast doing daily roulettes (MSQ is massive exp if you can stomach the length of the run due to cutscenes), hunts while in queue and then dungeon runs after that.
On my WHM, I found the 2 levels per dungeon equated to 8 - 10 runs, with rested exp.

My daily routine for leveling is the Leveling, Alliance Raids, Normal Raid, and Trial roulettes combined with the daily SB beast quest and veteran clan marks. After that, if there's enough time, I'll queue for the MSQ. Once all those are done, then I'll do HoH if I have the time. Someone also mentioned that on the odd levels (61, 63, 65, 67, 69) to keep queueing for highest dungeon available, which is also good advice, except for 69 since Castrum Abania is pretty hard.

Chaining the 21-30 Hoh floors make it pretty quick to level, if you end up with people running the fastest way possible to the exit, and not some players who do every rooms, kill every mobs and open every chests. You have to like this kind of content though, it becomes quickly brainless. Also i dont know if there is as many people still doing it right now than before, when i did try it i always could enter instantly with no queue at all, even as a dps. That was a big advantage over daily roulettes.

Castum Abania also has some of the prettiest unique weapons in the game, so I think it's well worth running for the brief period you can do it and earn EXP from it!!!

It takes three runs to get from 69 to 70 there.

Methods listed above are all good, if you're starting to burn out on all of them though or need just a bit more xp quickly then from 1-60 you can do battle leves. There however are no battle leves for lvl 61+.

Also remember to always log out in a capital city or housing to get rested xp bonus when not playing, food gives +3% xp so i recommend using food always while leveling even if it's just something cheap like hard boiled eggs. There is also some gear that gives xp bonuses, but they are usually tied to pre-order bonuses or recruit a friend.

Daily roulettes combined with highest exp dungeon available to you and weekly challenge log (dungeons, FATEs, and commendations). Remember the Free Company exp buff (10% bonus), keep up rested exp, and always eat any food for the additional 3% bonus (every little bit helps). This is my method for effective level progression and avoiding any grind.

If leveling tank/healer I usually did the daily roulettes and then just spammed whichever dungeon was the highest I could get into.

If leveling a dps job I would do the exact same thing except I would run F.A.T.E.s for challenge log completion during the queue time. After challenge log I would sidequest while waiting.

Take care of your weeklies in the challenge log (x5 dungeon, x3 leveling roulette, FATEs, etc.)
Take care of your dailies (roulettes, hunts, beast tribes, etc.)

After you've done all of that while also taking advantage of exp bonus giving features such as rested, food, FC buffs etc. then run the highest available dungeon in your DF.

PoTD is an alternative if you just can't deal with lengthy queue times as a DPS. If leveling a healer or tank, I'd just stick to DF. Things are always faster with others, even with the occasional schite PUG.

Dungeons, lots of dungeons, and challenge logs. And maybe hunts and beast tribe quests.
