    Billing issue

    So I was wondering if anyone had any experience of this before... I have been playing and paying with SE since FF11 early days and have never dropped a sub apart from when we weren’t paying in 1.0 just to put my issue in context...

    I am on the reoccurring 180 day billing cycle and have been since it was an option in 2.0. With various free days at the start of service taken into account I end up paying at the end of June and December (roughly with it being 180 days and not exactly 6 monthly). In November on the 27th the exact amount I pay for my service account for 180 days (legacy) plus one retainer was taken from my bank account. I assumed as it was the 41.04 I always pay as it was the amount of my normal sub. Then I didn’t check my emails over a Christmas - today I see on the 18th of December they sent me a payment due for the 27th of December...

    I tried to login today and it said I have no active service account. The Mog Station says my account sub was inactive. I was forced to hand over my sub again putting in my credit card and resuming the 180 day auto withdraw subscription - I assume this is because my credit card recently exipired .... but then I remembered the withdrawal in November trawled back through my bank account and saw they took a payment one month ago....

    So I have effectively been double charged by SE. I also trawled back through my emails and no reminder for payment was sent in November when the money was taken. It’s also odd as it’s the EXACT amount of my legacy for 180 days plus 1 retainer....

    I have not cancelled my sub- not have I ever purchased anything other than my sub and one retainer from the mpg station so I’m not missing and confusing it with a transaction there...

    I guess my question is has anyone else ever had the auto renew or SE double charge them? Did SE deal with it or do I need to go chat to my bank and risk the wrath of SE that way

    The maximum payment is what you selected:



    Mog Station only supports a maximum of 180 days of game time on a SQUARE ENIX account at any time.

    If they took a payment one month a go, then you can't attempt to buy more time until you have 120 days remaining, so maybe check to see how many days are remaining on your account, if it had 0, then the charge was reversed already or your card was declined. It isn't possible to have over 180 days and if you got charged twice you'd have 360 days etc

    No what I am saying is the money was taken in November for the max 180 days +1 retainer with no preemptive email warning a month earlier than it was due, Then last night the account said it had zero days. I then had to input my card again and set up the sub again. The money was debited in November and nothing has been returned to my bank account between now and then. Effectively a 180 day payment taken in November has lasted a month and another has gone out when my 180 day payment was actually due. Again I can confirm nothing has been reversed into my bank account.

    Sorry for the double post but my phone hates this site. I can also see my last payment for 180 days through email confirmation and the mog station was taken at the end of June. The 180 days should have been due end of December which is indeed when the service account showed 0 sub days last night but there is legitimately a debit and no further credit on my bank account on November 27th from SE in the standard format and for the exact amount of my sub.

    I understand that. I put in the support ticket before I posted here. I was simply curious if anyone else had encountered a similar issue and how - if at all - the issue had been resolved which is what I placed in my original post.
