Favorite Beast Tribe and Beast Tribe Quests

Only recently did I start and finish most Beast Tribe Quests to gain the mounts (only need to finish the Moogle and Vanu Vanu questlines), and I was surprised with the fact that some actually had very interesting stories.

So what are your favorite Beastmen (regardless of whether there are Beast Tribe Quests for them or not) and favorite Beast Tribe Quests?

    My favorites are:

    3. Namazu Quests: This game's comedy is very hit and miss with me sometimes, but the Namazu are just the best. Seigetsu the Enlightened is best boi.

    2. Ixal Quests: I really liked this story and how the Ixal are a bird-like race that has lost the ability to fly and dreams to go back to their home in the skies, with some resorting to the worship of Garuda while others resort to balloon/airship engineering.

    1. Sahagin Quests: I wasn't expecting to like this story so much, especially considering that the Sahagin are not even a novelty in FFXIV, being a classic monster in the series. But Novv is just a badass, and the story with his son is really compelling. After both suffered the same loss, one tried to obtain peace with the race that caused said suffering to end all future suffering, while the other became obsessed with revenge. Also, Novv in the Allied Quests was pretty cool.

In terms of favorite tribe, I really like the Ixal, but I probably still prefer the Sahagin. With Sahagin reproducing like some fishes (as in, there's no sex, females release their unfertilised eggs into the water and males fertilise them) and being ruled by a matriarch, I found the idea that the queen gives more eggs to certain males based on their feats and he then raises the offsprings very interesting for a society (I got this from the quests alone, I don't know if the lore books say anything about this that I might be getting wrong). Also the fact that they have to raise their offspring in land when they're young creates an interesting relationship with land-dwellers.
