I understand that but you see I was talking to the OP who specifically stated she wanted to relevel. The new game+ system may give you what you want.People want to redo certain quests and story lines without having to relevel. Some people don't want to waste time doing that. I have an ALT at 60 and I don't want to waste time leveling to 70 just to replay SB story line. It was a pain getting back to 60 when I wanted to redo the HW story. Now I will be able to redo any story line I want without slogging through hours of boring low level dungeons.

What about picking a different class? Do you have any left at level 1 that you'd be interested in playing? (Maybe if they let you play blue mage? I assume you can, especially if you've unlocked it before resetting your progress, however it exactly works.)
It depends how much work it is, I guess.
I think they've said in the past that they can't let people replay individual solo instances, apparently because it will mess up story flags or something. So maybe it's simple to reset everything - perhaps it only stores one piece of information about where you are in the story, and replaying Quest #1 makes it forget that you were ever anywhere else. But your EXP levels are separate to story progress, so they're not affected.
I might choose a different city-state to start in, so I could see their early story branch. Another reason is because I'd be able to level in rotation while there are still quests to break up the grind. There's nothing worse than completing all the low level story quests, but half a dozen classes still need leveled. It leads to burnout.
Honestly, I'd be satisfied if there was a way to transfer purchased MogStation outfits (and preferably event outfits) to a new character. Really, a lot of it is about sunk cost.
I just wonder if you start over can you change you city state?
Because the items of events and stuff bought in mog station. Don't really want to buy everything all over again and lose everything.
Sorry my mind didn't go there as it could only think of Crono Triger where if I remember right you kept everything as I remember being able to use Crono's highest spell on the robot guy at the fair if you really wanted to waste the mp instead of just having Merle attack the poor thing as Crono tends to be super overkill.
You talking the remastered version of X-2? Haven't beaten the remaster but all my save files from the ps2 version when I use NG+, I start out at whatever level they left off on, just loose all key items. The only FF game I've seen do that version of NG+ so far was the remaster of 12 TZA, and they also added a NG- where you stay at level 1 through the whole game.
My whole 2 cents on this however, is I think it is awesome they are adding it and making it like traditional NG+ that they introduced back in Chrono Trigger. Just curious how it works though since I'm still playing through Stormblood.
