BRD meld quetion. CRIT or DH?

Hello, I had a quetion about melding with bard. Is it better to max out on Crit or Direct Hit, since I’ve been seeing a lot of bard maxing out on this compared to Crit.

What would be better?

Crit. Always Crit.

If you can’t meld Crit, then you meld D.Hit. But Crit should always be priority. BiS this tier with HQ Shakshoka gives us almost 3,000 critical hit.

Crit on everything. If you can meld Crit, then you meld Crit. If the piece of gear already has max Crit, then meld D.Hit, then Det if you can’t get 2 D.Hit melds on it.

I would wager mistake or they are memeing. It’s fairly well known amongst BRD mains that Crit is superior to the other substats, and has been the entire expansion, because of the way our DoTs proc Repertoire off of critical ticks.
