Combo Action Button

I'm neutral on the whole combo idea. I like the idea of saving space

As a controller user, though, I wish everything could fit in 32 hotbar

Unfortunately even if the combo button is introduced it won't save you space unless you choose to only play the classes that benefit from it.

The answer to your problem would be a menu ui update. I haven't used controller for ages but I do remember wishing there was a favourites section in the menu where I could put the things I personally use frequently. Like the crafting, gathering and challenge logs, timers and currency windows, etc.
