    How would that be complicated? This exact system already exists for Fel Cleave and Inner Beast.

    That situation doesn't exist for now, with two skills sharing a slot while not sharing a CD, so I don't know what would need to be changed to create something like that.
    This would also make tracking the CD for each of them impossible without changing your stance. Like I said, you don't have this issue with GCD precisely because there's no cooldown for them.

    Fel Cleave and Inner Beast are both on the GCD.
    If you're referring to Recast time however, that can easily be done via a secondary number in the top corner of the button denoting the cooldown of the other skill.
    Fel Cleave and Inner Beast are entirely separate skills, the system they put in place for those 2 skills simply switches the skill Inner Beast for the skill called Fel Cleave based on whether you have Deliverance up or not, as it defaults to Inner Beast when no Stance is active.

    You'd want to be able to track both cooldowns, is all. Mods in WoW, for instance, do this already with an inner radial timer on macro'ed multi-skill keys. A consolidation where two skills' access are mutually exclusive yet do not use a shared timer would need the same.

    I can't believe that people regularly switch Grit on and off in line with the cooldowns of Blood Weapon and Blood Price, given that Grit costs MP and a GCD.
    Giving these a shared cooldown wouldn't negatively impact the job much at all besides when you transition right as the effect of one of these finishes. You might try to time it like that to take advantage of the effect, but it'd be incredibly minor.

    That or they should do away with these skills entirely and have them integral effects of Darkside/Grit that are constant but only 1/3 as effective.

    You can always set up an additional hotbar, just for showing OGD skills CDs so it doesnt matter if you see them atm or not - i do that now too so i dont have to keep track of time or swich layers just to check.

    Bloodweapon/-price would work just fine. Or you shorten the CD a bit, make it a shared timer. There plenty of solutions for all that, if you just want to. Id even take 2-3 more combos if we can condense the current ones on less skills, I just hope we dont get more SAM style stuff, it sucks when the mid move of the combo triggers buffs/debuffs >_>

    I'm neutral on the whole combo idea. I like the idea of saving space, but I still find myself having more difficulty doing the combos in pvp over the separate buttons in PVE for some reason, but I can still work with it.

    As a controller user, though, I wish everything could fit in 32 hotbar slots, that includes slots for teleport, return, mount, party finder, duty action 1, duty action 2 (I hope there is no 3), and limit break. That leaves 25 for job and role actions.

    Unfortunately even if the combo button is introduced it won't save you space unless you choose to only play the classes that benefit from it.

    The answer to your problem would be a menu ui update. I haven't used controller for ages but I do remember wishing there was a favourites section in the menu where I could put the things I personally use frequently. Like the crafting, gathering and challenge logs, timers and currency windows, etc.

    It's priorities though isn't it. Some things you just can't use in most duties such as mounts, teleport or PF, and the Duty Action has its own little section anyway seperate from the main bars. I see the stuff mentioned as being secondary actions that just not important enough to be on the main bars you know, as that space could go to things used more often (like more if not all job actions). Controller has lots of space though so it's probably just a matter of tidying things up and culling the stuff you seldom use to make it easier.
