Movement Lag

So there's this issue I've been playing with almost my entire time playing FF14 and it is a movement delay. What happens is that when I move my character it takes a good moment for my character to move and then takes a moment to stop moving after I have stopped moving. While in the over-world this isn't an issue. However, in combat this is increasingly becoming a problem that's harder for me to ignore. Many times I've dodge mechanics of creatures and bosses only to be hit by the move regardless of dodging it. Also when I'm moving I must wait a moment to cast after I've stopped moving because the game still thinks I'm moving and will just cancel the cast and I'd loose valuable time trying to get that clutch heal off. For the longest time I've just played a PLD and if I was hit by an attack that I dodged it wouldn't necessarily be the end of the world, but now that I'm playing White Mage this issue has become harder for me to ignore and is directly affecting how I enjoy this game. Movement is the only thing that suffers from lag. For instance, my skills fire off as they're suppose to and my FPS never drops. I can also feel this movement lag is that when I'm casting if I start walking it will take a good moment (about half a second to a second) to actually stop casting and move. Throughout my time playing this game I have found out that I am not the only person suffering from this issue but I also know many others don't suffer from it at all. This issue has only happened in this game and I have never felt it in any other MMO I've played. I run this game on my PC and I'm on the Zalera server. I often don't run anything else in the background other than Skype when I play with my friends and whether or not I'm using Skype doesn't seem to affect this issue. Is there anything I can do to help myself and my friends that suffer from this issue?
