Max Mac Resolution

I bought recently FFXIV for my iMac. On my bootcamp partition I can play FFXIV at max resolution, 3840×2160. But on Mojave the max resolution available is 2560x1440.

Is this a MacOs FFXIV client limitation? Is there anything I can do to change to 4k resolution?

The game will use the configurations in your graphics card settings to determine what resolutions you can use, usually the pre-set resolutions your monitor has (or any custom ones you've made). Is there any difference in the graphics card configurations or the display settings between your two partitions?

Do you have any graphics settings in the game that are different? Are you using Fullscreen or Windowed mode?

Can you provide the specs for your iMac?

No, both run at 3840x2160

No, both use the same settings. I tried windowed mode and fullscreen.

Unfortunately the iMac18,1 is not on the list of Macs that meet the minimum system requirements. Also playing on a high screen resolution such as 4kK will result in low performance. You mention you are able to run the game on bootcamp, I would recommend sticking with that for now.
