Yah, I know viera is more than a beauty, she is a genius and a warrior but it's hard for people to accept that by her looks. Sure, it's safe to assume it's Fran (and just about everyone knows what she and her race looks like from FF XII) but we haven't had an official reveal yet. At all. I honestly facepalm every time someone says that Viera are "elezen with bunny ears".
You do realize that every race gets different models/animations/emotes/faces/features? Just because they're tall it doesn't make them elezen. It's like saying that male AuRa are elezen with horns.
And if we would get really short bunnies they would be lalafells with bunny ears then, following such logic.

They're talking about how they look overall. Most playable races in this game are all different flavours of humans, with only a couple being able to tell what they are at a quick glance (Lalafells are obvious, as they're the shortest race in the game and lack knees. Roegadyn males are also easy to spot since they're muscular box men and are the only race in this game that look good in the Vanu Vanu gear).

Au Ra could have been way better if SE went with the dragon/demon concept art (I think back before HW came out, I claimed the males were pretty much Elezen with horns and females Miqo'te with horns. The two are very similar in appearance if you don't look hard enough, or angle the camera a certain way). I honestly would have preferred Viera over Au Ra, all because of the concept art.

We have plenty of tall races already but only one short race. Sure female au ra are pretty short but that's just half of a race. If you want to be a short male your only choice is lalafel.

But are Feol really short? All we know about them is that they have blonde hair and shorter ears and are not pure-blood Viera (they're a Viera-Aegyl hybrid. They just didn't get the wings).

Fun fact, this is also a Feol Viera. The Judge of Wings (she's that same Feol Viera wearing pink).

I kind of don't know why anyone who complains needs a little bunny. Can you guide me why Miqote is not good enough for you? Or why the Lalafell fight back? I don't know myself.
