Eh, I don't run EX primals so this mount will never be mine. Unless I can solo/2 man it at a later time. Between the attitudes I hear of people here/obsession with damage meters and the crud I dealt with in WoW high end raiding isn't my thing. I guess I'm too laid back or something.
All of this is why I don't think it should be the ultimate mount. Firstly, it's a lot more involved in the game & the story than the kirin or firebird were. They were a reward for getting the extreme mounts. Now they've taken something that's at the culmination of a chain of content that a lot of folks, including plenty of casuals who have no interest in extremes, completed, and placed it into extreme content.
I wholly agree that this has been in the works; what I disagree with is the method of obtaining it. They should have given us this mount as something to buy with (99?) of the fate tokens, since you can literally buy one of everything and two of the stuffed fox after doing the final fate just one time. That would have made much more sense than tacking it onto the auspice line. (Yes, she's an auspice, yes she was mentioned, she doesn't however show up in the actual story at all.)
(Also note: I'm not complaining because I want it easier - I've got most of my wolves and am working on Tsukuyomi currently. I just don't think this was the right place for this mount.)
I was explaining a white/black fire dogge, since we has most of the color beside blue.
Foxlady is good too but I thought fox mount suppose to be cuter when people talked about fox mount...
no/の is basically a possessive particle (like in the DRG AF3 weapon Ryu-no-hige = beard of the dragon), and when used in a name it becomes kind of a nobiliary particle. So Tamano-no-Gozen = Gozen of the Tamano
I have no dogs xd lazy to farm but daaamn a golden dog fox thing would be better
I don't know a lot but I do know that the 'no' particle in names is usually an archaic indicator of nobility or social prestige. I imagine a friend might drop the particle? Or something to that effect, though I'm not sure that's actually a thing. It's similar to things like 'von' in German names, or even the 'de' in Ishgardian nobility (Edmont de Fortemps, literally meaning Edmont of Fortemps). With something like a deity you'd also see it because supernatural entities of some renown are automatically awarded status in a lot of cases.
If the 'no' is NOT supposed to be dropped, then I imagine that is something the localization team needs to check into...but someone fluent in Japanese would have to determine that. Someone fluent and also able to ask the lore team...
I really like it to be honest, I kind of regret not farming any dogs now as I'd just assumed it'd be really gold and way too bright and flashy.
This is nice though, large, impressive but not toooo over the top for my tastes. Might have to start farming dogs now.

Also, why does everyone want it to be gold?
