Patch 4.5 ultimate dog disapointed.

If you don't know what I'm talking about. It's the dog you get for collecting all the raid dogs. For ponies we got a golden pony, for birds we got a golden bird. For dogs we got .... the fox lady.

I'm probably going to be alone since it's such a significant grind that most people won't care for it, but honestly I low key want to cry a little inside from all the time spent farming for this and wrongfully hyping myself up (doesn't help that I think the design sucks as well). I just needed to express this here and maybe give a hug or two to my fellow farmers who feel the same.

For all the talk about doing things consistently from SE between patch versions and content delivery. This was a curve-ball I could've done without.

PS: I'm already fully committed and the last dog is actually the prettiest of the lot imo so I might as well go through with it now. Not too happy though.

Honestly I'm kind of in the same boat. I really loved the kirin and firebird and I was hoping they'd follow suit with another golden mount, a fox or wolf. I really don't like the colouration of this mount (I'm not gonna complain about the reused fenrir body since the firebird mimics the yol (even though it came first) and the kirin reuses the body of the primal horses). I'm ok with having farmed the wolves because I like a challenge and most of them are beautiful (I'm super hyped for Seiryu's) but the epic mount, well...

I liked tamamo-no-gozen as a quest entity but I didn't want her as a mount.

I know there's some folks that like it and I'm glad for them, but I don't.

I really liked the final dog and assumed it would be the Fox Lady fate model. Im quite happy with this.

Agreed... besides, I always liked the Fox Lady Fate.

I assumed the last mount was going to be a golden nine tailed fox, but red fox lady is still good.

I was hoping for excatly this - I started farming the dogs purely because I guessed, prayed and hoped that the outcome would be the fox lady (I would have taken any kind of fox, honestly).

So... sorry hear that in the sense "one persons loss is another persons gain" the loss is on your side here... I'm looking forward to having my own personal fox carry me around!

I was also extremely disappointed when I saw the mount. All that work collecting the wolf mounts just to get a recolored Fenrir.

a lot of people dont have fenrir tho

That kinda makes sense tho we get this mount.
We got kirin that looks like the ponies
We got the flame bird that looks like the birds
And we'll get the fox lady that looks like the wolves.
Although i think it should be gold but fox lady is red so it makes sense. And i love it and can't wait to get it!
