Allow PSN playera to switch Accounts

Why, why, why, why won't you allow psn users to change accounts. Im not going to spend another 60 dollars just so i can log into my friend account to help them out. Linking the ffxiv account with ps4 account was one of the stupidest fucking decision SE has made in a very very long line of fucking stupid decision. CHANGE IT

You do understand that it's cross play compatible right? I play with PSN users and PC -.- so you can help each other.. Also common sense dictates Sony and SE are two different companies. Hint Hint. You can still help your friend out.

I think what they mean is if you have a new or different PSN account, you can't switch your FFXIV to that one, it's linked to whatever you had before when you did the registration. Granted you can take your PSN account anywhere and use it on any device/console but your FFXIV account is still linked which seems to be the issue.

Basically, if i want to Log into a different FF account from my ps4 , i have to first make a new PSN account and Rebuy FFXIV . They need to change that

Why are you trying to log in to a different xiv account? Are you trying to log in with a friends account? That is against the ToS. Rebuying the game would only let you make a new account anyway, not log into an existing ps4 xiv account.

If that's true, it would need to be proven. I say that because let's say you a have a friend that comes to your house and logs in on your computer/console etc but you play the game for them because they need help with something, technically an account is being shared in that instance although most people probably wouldn't care. I mean someone could be playing another person's account right now but it's hard to action that as being against ToS unless that person actually states what they are doing isn't it.

Also let's say you have a new SE service account for whatever reason, you couldn't link it to your current PSN because your old service account would be connected to it, therefore you would need to make a new PSN account to link it to which pretty much taps on what OP was saying.

It's a CYA. Meaning: If someone else has access to your account and they do something that warrants any type of punishment, you can't come back and say it wasn't you because as per the rules... that is not allowed (or just in general claiming it wasn't you to try to avoid sanction.)
