[Mog Station] False info regarding retainer fees.

This got to be the 4-5th time i post about this annoying little piece of misleading information on the mogstation...

Namely on the page to hire additional retainers, it very clearly states that you can get 2 Additional Retainers for No additional fee. Keyword here being Additional which implies two retainers in addition to the two main retainers you get in-game for free.


Yet upon selection of Two Additional Retainers

You are met with the payment fee of what should have been 4 Additional Retainers.



All that needs to be done is to remove the two rows surrounded in red stating No additional fee.

Thing is, they’re counting the ones you hire in-game after getting access to retainers, all they’d really need to do is reword that description so that it clearly indicates those are the retainers you get free rather than leaving it vague and letting you figure that out.

It's not vague, it's downright wrong which is why that table needs to be changed.
"Your FINAL FANTASY XIV service account allows you to hire up to two retainers per character as part of the basic subscription fee.
If you wish to hire more than two retainers, follow the on-screen instructions to add the retainer services to you account." There is no mention of additional during this text, which implies that the mog station retainer services offers two extra retainers for free.

I don't see it being completely false, but that's just my opinion on how I read it. You have 2 additional retainers free as part of your subscription (this is clearly stated and not implied it comes from the Mog Station), however if you want more then you can purchase additional retainers on top of the free ones with your sub. A customer could go in to the Mog Station and not know the sub even includes any retainers, thus the information makes them aware they still have 2 already, but adding more is an option.
