Veteran Looking For A Better Server

This topic is consider to be closed for now. I've decided to delete my main character, and start over on a new character on Cactuar server.

You could create a character on different worlds and run around and see what's going on. Most people really only know what their own server is like, which doesn't help much.

Yeah I've tried that. So my only option right now is to start all over.

Start... your character all over? Why not transfer to another server?

Not sure what status Lamia is but you may be able to transfer out for free now (or pay if not), and then during the data center shift around 4.5 there will be an opportunity to move without fee (some restrictions may apply, like which server, what happens to houses (turns into gil, you lose the house), etc).

We'll get free transfers for 2 weeks after the data center split. You'll be able to visit other servers too in the same DC.

On Primal you can try Leviathan or Behemoth if you want a more populated server.
Aether I would say Gilgamesh and Cactuar.
Crystal, just Balmung and Mateus.

This is a bad moment to take any decisions, since not many people is playing, due the lack of content. Everyone is waiting for the patch, so I'd recommend do the same. Also, as said above, free transfers will be open in a couple months, but before that you'll have a new patch, so hang in there a little bit.

As of today of not finding any friends or a Free Company, ive decided to leave Lamia and find a better server to go to. The problem is that not many people play and I understand that.

If anyone can reply to my post what are the better servers with bits of activity, and the FFXIV Census isn't helping.

What specifically was Lamia lacking that you're looking for? Is your focus open world content, raiding with a static, PVP or ... what?
