It's not.

Only really blatant offenses like cussing people out like the TC or actively griefing them and making it hard for them to play are likely to get you strikes.

Unfortunately, that also means that more subtle infractions such as the various forms of cheating people engage in using third party software are unlikely to ever actually be punished, and even if they are, the strike system will ensure that they don't get properly punished even in the event they actually start doing something about the numerous players who've been at it for years.

You're again one strike away and come back for changes, because it's you on the line again? Also no one has compared you to anything, no need for woe is me.

There is no special allowance to explode at people in chat. All go by the same rules. While I do meet annoying people in-game, having to fend "toxic" people constantly isn't a thing. If it's something you see all the time and it's always them provoking you without reason, you may want to re-evaluate... What about the friends you keep defending? Apparently they're not bothered.

I kinda understand that sometimes its too harsh and that they also somehow not punish everyone the same way (still have someone playing that was stalking, made other people stop playing, told lies and more) but what exactly should they do with their rules so that you would feel better? Where would be the line? How should they be able to tell that someone suffers from health problems or if they are just jerks?

I also have a hard time believing that the examples were really all that happened. That either seems to be quite bad luck and a way too strickt GM or there is more to this. Its also not SEs problem that you have certain issues. I myself suffer from anxiety but I would never say that SE should do something so that I would never have to be in a situation where I feel it. Its your responsibility to play with the rules in mind and if you cant then maybe an online game is not the way to play or maybe you can just simply deactivate your chat while playing with randoms thus you would not see any attack.

That goes with the one major question on my mind. Is this so they can change themselves for the better. Or is because they want to keep doing what they're doing without any fear of a punishment that could serve as a giant wake up call.

I almost want to say the latter because they keep on stating that they can't control themselves and they're afraid that if they say something like a your momma joke someone is going to report them or take it out of context and report them. While having fully admitting that they have an alt for a just in case their main gets baned. They also don't come off as very remorseful and seem to only to care about losing the time and work they've put into their main.

Right... Picking out some of the repeated points here so not going to quote specifically.

"I have to walk on eggshells to not offend people." - Well yep, welcome to life and society. This is pretty much the way life goes if you want to be a part of a community. If you're offensive and verbally abusive, even when you feel justified in it, and you do it repeatedly then there are consequences to those actions. It's not that the system is out to get you, personally... It's that the system is attempting to meditate and protect as many people as it can. Unfortunately the system is designed by people and people are imperfect so the system will therefore be imperfect.

"I'm not a hacker/racist/ect." - Has anyone said you are? And do those things qualitatively compare to what you are being disciplined for? If you punch someone in the face does saying "Well I'm not a murderer" make what you did any better? Just because there are worse people out there does not eliminate the fact that you did something wrong.

"I can't control myself." - Well, ultimately you're the only person who can control yourself. Yes, there are conditions that impair you from this... Turrets, schizophrenia, ect. But the issue with those is that, in many cases, those people generally don't even have the capacity to realize they have an issue or are incapable of performing the actions they would need to do to correct it. You have anger issues, a lot people do and it's a difficult thing to deal with. The good part is that, right here and now you are admitting it, you know you have a problem and have difficulties in dealing with it so what you need to realize is that you don't need to face it down alone. There is no shame on seeking help, and there is a lot of help available. Instead of taking this moment as a point of vitriol and discrimination against you, take it as your sign that you need to get that help so you can become a better person in general. You'll be happier, the people around you will be happier and you may find that, in understanding yourself better, you are better able to do all the things you want to do without having to worry what anyone else thinks about you.

That's the feeling I'm getting too. Browsing through the posts I haven't seen really any sign of wanting to change themselves, just the rules to excuse them.

I don't think so? As far as I know, I've never so much as gotten even a warning for anything in this game....ever.
