The issue isn't that the content we get each patch/expansion is predictable, the issue is that nowadays the game design of said content seems copy/pasted from one dungon/trial/raid to another. IDK about Eve, but I've played TESO for a few years before starting this game and it's a treadmill as well, just a different kind. Yes, you don't have any actual gear progression but this is simulated every few patch cycles by completely popular gears/skills in the name of "balance". Don't be fooled by that, this is meant to force players to regear every few patches, the same we have here.
