Ping Issues Behemoth

Hello, I know there a lot of this threads but well we need a solution to this.
I'm in Brazil and I get a lot of lag, ms wise, like 300ms and thats not normal, every other game based on the US I get 150-180ms and thats fine, thats playable but 300 its insane.

I know for a fact that its not my ISP problem, I see a lot of other people with diferente ISPs having the same problem so its a problem between ITT and SA ISP routes.
the problem starts at hop 12 where it and goes to spain, london(hop 15) and back to the US(hop 18)

Actually I'm afraid it is. Your computer is basically saying "I need to get to 204.2.229.9" and your ISP is saying "No problem, this is how you get there...", except they're leading you through Spain and the UK...

I can only guess as to why they do this, but it's probably cheaper (and more available bandwidth?) if they go via Spain. Sadly as you know this costs you latency

Have you tried using a 3rd party VPN? A lot of them have free trials so you could see if it makes any difference and try and get your ISP to change your routing, although they probably won't and if the VPN works then you'd have to use that

Alternatively have you tried creating a character on the EU servers to test? Maybe that is actually better for you (since compared to how you're going now it'd be a much shorter route). I do appreciate that a world transfer would mean leaving friends/statics behind, but just mentioning as an option.

Actually what it is saying is "I'll connect you with ITT, let me check what route they assigned as the fastest for us to do this oh go to europe first, they like this way"

Paying for the game and for a vpn is just a nope for me, sad that if it can't be fixed than is better to me not play at all

Unfortunately, the route you take to the server is determined by your ISP. They are not "assigned" a specific route nor would there be a way for us to influence your route. As such, I recommend contacting your ISP about the situation.

Sure, I contact my ISP and they tell they can do nothing, I contact SE they tell they can do nothing.

I understand your frustration, but unfortunately we cannot change the route that you use to get to the server. I apologize I can't do more to assist you.
