MATERIA changes to save inv space

I'd be happier if materia didn't take up space in my inventory at all, it never made sense to me that it does, my character is carrying around several thousand fire/ice/lighting/whatever crystals but because materia is a different 'type' of crystal it takes up a precious inventory slot.

I'd be happier if materia didn't take up space in my inventory at all, it never made sense to me that it does, my character is carrying around several thousand fire/ice/lighting/whatever crystals but because materia is a different 'type' of crystal it takes up a precious inventory slot.

this idea is also to gain the effects of less desired materia without having to sacrifice stats for it.

for standard materia i think they are doing away with all the different potency's and just making them NQ HQ so they can stack
