Can we please have an expansion to glamour previews?

    Title.

Would really love to have an expansion to the preview system in place when trying on new gear. It gets a bit annoying when looking on the MB and you can only try on one piece at a time and then having to remember it while trying other options. Glamour dresser is one thing, but that's for gear that is in the dresser.

Or maybe expand the companion app to allow us to mix and match gear without having to constantly keep mental notes, and then let us tag that for a wish list. Surely the app could be capable of doing that.

    Or...something.

That's what the "save outfit" button at the bottom of the preview window is for!

I was hesitant to use it for ages because I didn't know what it did, but it makes the preview screen save the last piece of gear you tried on in each slot, so you can build up a full costume of pieces.

It'll store everything until you turn the button off again, at which point it will clear everything except the last item you tried on.

It's also why there's a "remove outfit" option on each individual piece that won't do anything if you've only tried on a single item. It's for removing that one item from the preview without clearing everything.

Oh. I didn't know it could be used in that fashion. Thanks for the info, I'll be looking to try it out.

I know you didn't mention this in your OP, but in case you missed it as well, you can dye items in the preview. Just right-click them and select the dye option, pick your color, hit "apply," and it will appear as that color on the preview. You can do that to all the individual pieces of your saved outfit in the preview screen, which is a great way to make sure that the different pieces and textures all dye the same way or to make sure that different colors look good together on those specific items.

I just want a bigger preview screen, it's incredibly annoying to deal with that small screen when checking out what a weapon looks like unsheathed.

You can make it bigger. I have that done for the preview window myself.

You can resize the overall window, but the tiny viewing pane where your character gets rendered doesn't change its scrollable range. Looking at weapons from the side, if you zoom in all the way you can only ever really see the handles because you can't move your character far enough to one direction to see the whole weapon from all angles.

That being resolved, there IS an expansion to the trying on system I'd love them to implement. Once you've set up an outfit, it would be nice if there was some sort of instanced changing room where you can control your character in the clothes you've picked, as well as with a training dummy to see how your moveset looks with the outfit.

I've been burned a couple times putting something together and buying the items only to get them on my character and not like the way they clip into my head or hair or the way they move when I'm in combat, and then the items never get used and can't be sold since I've already applied them as glamor.

http://dulfy.net/2014/04/17/gw2-fash...r-title-guide/ <--Just the first picture under A Note About Wardrobe.

This is what I would LOVE to see. A option in game to see every option there is in the game. That way I know what's available.. I'll find what I like and then google how to get it. That would be cool. GW2 is a meh game but being able to see everything IN game on your charter is cool.
