Hey there, returning player that just resubbed back to FFXIV and reinstalled the client. However every time I login and when the actual games boots up from the client, I get this error which then promptly closes the game before I even see the start screen. I never received this error previously, and I'm using the same computer since the first time I installed the game. I also haven't changed any internal components either, so my computer has been the same since the beginning. I'm assuming it's something graphics related since it's telling me it's a directx fatal error and I saw the pinned threads in the forum so I'll add the info required for GPU utilization errors.
Date & Time: I guess most recent attempt to login was today at 4:53pm EST
Frequency: Occurs every time I try to boot from the client into the game, after login
World Name: Sargatanas
Character Name: Shion Sumeragi
Party or Solo: N/A wasn't ingame don't even see the start screen before game prompts itself to close
In-Game Time: N/A wasn't in the game
Area and Coordinates: N/A wasn't in the game
Steps:
1. client boots, whether from steam or solo client
2. login using username, password, buttons appears to boot game using directx 11
3. client window closes game attempts to open, but then a small windows box pop up error appears displaying the "Fatal Directx Error. (10000000)"
GPU performance change before and after you started having the issue: Not that I've noticed, tried benchmarks and the like and compared my performance on said benchmarks to other results, and mine actually still performs a little higher than normal.

Driver Version: 417.35 (using geforce experience to update drivers regularly)
CPU: intel i5 6600k
RAM: Gskill 16GB DDR4-3200MHz (PC4 25600) trident z
Hard Drive: 850 samsung evo 500GB
OS: windows 10

Graphics Settings: can't specify, have no access to the game, but iirc they should've been max settings, don't remember specifics
FPS Limit: (System Configuration > Display Settings > FPS Limit) if I remember correctly, it was set to uncapped
I've tried filing a support ticket on this issue, but I haven't seen any replies in 2 weeks so I thought I'd try asking about the issue here. I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times with no success, I did try downloading the game via steam, which allowed me to play for a few days until the recent windows update, whereas I am now receiving the same error when booting from the steam client. Before trying to roll back the windows update, I'd rather figure out what is wrong, since I prefer using the regular client regardless, over steam (even then rolling back doesn't garauntee the issue fixed since it was already occuring via regular stand alone client). Does anyone know what this error means?
