    I'd be all for this. The voice samples they have aren't very good to begin with (Why is /chuckle the emote used instead of /laugh? My character has a perfectly sensible chuckle, but he laughs like Hojo on nitrous oxide) and the lack of any battle examples makes it worse.

    So very much this! I'm the type that spends hours perfecting my character before creation, so when I found out my /laugh sounded like a hyena, instead of the sensible voice that I chose, I was pretty pissed off. As it stands, the only way to reliably check your character's voice is to actually fully create and log-in with the character in order to test the emotes/battle noises, of you might get an unexpected surprise down the line.
