Preview combat voicing in character creation

Can we please preview the combat noises our character makes in creation? That's going to be a lot more useful than the voice they use during some emotes I'm not going to use often. I picked a voice I liked the emote sound of only to find out it's the most annoying voice ever in combat.

I would love to have this as a feature, because the same happened to me. Picked a voice for one of my alts that sounded fine with the emotes that were provided in the Character Creator, but sounds god-awful in combat.

That kind of ruined the archer class for my lala alt. She sounded fine on the emotes they let us test voices with, but I couldn't stand the way she squeals when firing arrows. This would be really helpful.

(and for that matter, why are Bards so noisy? I feel like an Archer, in reality, would not be shouting every time they shoot an arrow)

Let me guess, you picked Miqo'te girl voice #5 didn't you.
But in all seriousness I would love to have this, or at the very least be able to preview it with more voiced emotes. The difference between /Chuckle and /Laugh for example can make or break a voice for me.

Some of the female voices when they die/killed sound very sensual and it's disturbing. So yes I agree with the OP on having such choices in creation.

This is why I always create a character as a voice tester, run them out of town after the initial quest, and check the voices.

I'd be all for this. The voice samples they have aren't very good to begin with (Why is /chuckle the emote used instead of /laugh? My character has a perfectly sensible chuckle, but he laughs like Hojo on nitrous oxide) and the lack of any battle examples makes it worse.
