Glamour Plate updates

There's a couple of issues I have with glamour plates that are really holding me back from wanting to use the system.

The first is the obvious one.
Make glamour plates useable outside of major cities.
I realise there must be a technical issue behind this limitation, but I hope it can be resolved.

Secondly, separate glamour notifications from system messages.
Applying a glamour plate will fill your chat with glamour notification spam, and the only way to filter this out is by disabling system messages, which includes other important things you dont want to filter out.
I'd like to be able to specifically filter out glamour notifications.

Just add more plates. Flawed as the system is I would happily put up with most of it if there were actually a reasonable number of plates. 10 isn't even enough to cover all the gear sharing classes, let alone enough to otherwise play around with.

While I agree that it's very annoying a should be removed, I doubt it's a system limitation issue. After all, you can apply glamours manually outside of cities, and all a plate does is apply multiple glamours at once. The "cities only" rule is almost certainly an intentional (if completely insane) design choice.

Ugh... The chat spam from plates makes me insane. How on earth did that BS ever pass QA in the first place?

The number of plates is the biggest problem with the feature. The bare minimum should be 26 (or 27 once BLU comes out), so at least we could have one per job. But it should really be higher than that, in order to have a few extra plates for other cosmetic looks. 35 or so would have made a good starting point. Even 30 would have been ok. 10 isn't.

The second issue is the capacity of the dresser. 200 items is a laughably tiny proportion of the gear people can collect. Once the number of plates issue is fixed so that the system can be used for all the jobs, there'll barely be enough space for one outfit each. The idea is to have an assortment of stuff you can choose from in there. I'd say this should have started somewhere around 1000 items, with a view towards increasing it periodically from there on. (Or better yet, just made it a real glamour log that could record the appearance of every piece of gear in the game. It'd take less space than the current system uses for just a few of them.)

Well, not only can't we apply the plates outside of cities, we can't even look at the plate interface to see what's on them. So it could pertain to keeping that information (what gear is on which plate) with our character info all the time. I know the overall size of character info is a concern we hear about from them from time to time in regards to various different features. I'm not sure if that's the issue here, but I can't think what else could be.

If I'm right, and that is the issue, then adding more plates will only compound it. I still think getting enough plates is the more important fix if they were only able to do one or the other, but I'm hoping they can work out a way to fix both issues. (Like maybe a system that doesn't keep the info all all the plates with us while in the field, but retrieves the info on just the particular plate linked to a gear set when we switch to that set.)

I use the glamour plates for all my crafting classes. Crafting tends to involve a lot of switching back and forth in order to make materials with several different classes to then use on yet another to make the finished product. All that class swapping generates a whole stream of glamour messages each time. It'd be great to be able to filter those out.

I'd love to be able to store more items in the dresser as well. Yesterday I maxed out my 200 slots, and I don't even have half of all the outfits in there that I want to have...
