FFXIV has major issues when using an XBox One controller on Mac.

I can accept (for now) that the controller doesn't work wirelessly (probably due to a proprietary protocol). But what I can't accept is that the game will not detect the XBox One controller if you connect it AFTER starting the game. You have to plug the controller in first via USB, turn the controller on, and THEN start the game for it to work. Then you have to PRAY TO GOD the cable doesn't accidentally get disconnected while playing, especially during a group dungeon, because once it disconnects, the game won't detect the controller again unless you restart. That means you often have to wait 20 seconds just to log out & close the game, then reconnect the controller, restart the game, log back in, possibly wait in line if the world is full, and then resume playing. This is terrible! PLEASE fix this issue! This is made even worse by the fact that the controller uses a flimsy little Micro-USB connector, which disconnects with even the slightest wiggle! (I had to add a bunch of tape around the connector to hold it in place, and even that isn't enough to prevent accidental disconnects.)

Steps:
1. Boot up Mac running OS X 10.13.6
2. Connect XBox One Controller via USB cable
3. Press primary "X" button (the one in the middle that glows) on controller until it flashes slowly.
4. Start FFXIV app, enter password, login.
5. Controller should work, no driver required. (Possibly you will need to configure/calibrate the controller if using it for first time.)
6. Begin playing game.
7. Disconnect controller and reconnect.
8. Controller will no longer be detected unless you log out and exit the game, and restart as above.
