    Returning DPS question? Nin/mnk/drg

Hey all. Returning player here. Ive been gone for months now and just had a few DPS related questions.
    1. How is mnk compared to drg in terms of difficulty to perform "rotation" consistently. I have a drg to 70 and while that rotation is long imo it's fairly easy to remember cuz not much changes.
    2. Is mnk a class brought into endgame often or will they got overlooked for drg brd and nin?
    3. Whose pDps and rDps is higher out of the 3?
    4. Random: I have nin and mnk at 60 I think and was wondering do the armor sets at 70 for those classes look cool? Was kinda looking for something like the guy mnk wears in opening scene of the game but not exactly that cuz I'm sure everyone has that set. Not worried bout this question.
    Thanks all.

There's a massive gap in difficulty between DRG and MNK. I find DRG far too static and boring, but MNK is almost too complex. If you enjoy a challenge, try MNK. If you want to sleepwalk through rotations, go DRG. If you want to get into raids easily and have a medium-complexity job, go NIN.

NIN and DRG have the coolest looking glamour options of the three IMO.

Thx for the info. I know the raid community prefers NIN over MNK but how do their personal dps compare. I saw a thread where a guy said the NIN has utility but hits like a wet noodle. Lol. Is it that bad?I only got my NIN to 60 and it doesn't feel too weak but I don't have all the skills yet so I don't really know

Wet noodle? That's a gross exaggeration. For example, you go look at certain lumberjack websites, and you decide to look at DPS rankings at the 95th percentile (people who KNOW what they're doing) for Chaos, you'll find NIN at the bottom. However, what you'll also find is that next 4 DPS up the totem pole don't even surpass NIN by 100 dps. In case you're not getting the point, this means the difference isn't by much.

Yea I get what your saying. I kinda got the itch to play monk but the positionals and chance of dropping gl3 mid fight scares me. Plus if I'm the only melee dps am I really that helpful to the group? Might just stick with drg till I see changes to MNK. Where do u get those percentiles that tell u how ppl do in raids with a certain job?

well although Mnk can hit like a truck - Drg & Nin will have way easier lifes for raid-pfs. if your static is built of friends/fc member Mnk might be a good call cause u can talk about your overall comp. But else Mnk is not in the Meta - so its harder to find grps who would take you along for short runs/clears.

since the tool actually is against the ToS - we can be lucky that SE run with the "don't ask don't tell" mentality - I think you have to google it... : /

The lower dmg of Nin is what annoyed me raiding, lol
Plus i had always been a caster main. Ninja are always in demand because utility, and Monks are rare indeed.
I was the only mellee in our group last tier (we had me as Nin, Bard, Smn and a blm) so being the only mellee should not be of issue for contribution.
Sadly i do not know enough about Monk to suggest anything other then have a go at Balance Discord.
They have guides up to date and members always willing to help

Thx for the info. I actually decided to stick with Sam. I'm not doing savage raids or anything so I decided getting in PF ain't that serious. Just gonna have fun with this till gunblade comes out. Then I'll try to main that
