Oh, that new mount from the Annual event SDS Fenrir is the greatest!

I didn't attend the annual event, but once I saw that motorcycle I knew I need it. Bought it yesterday, joy rode it today. The music is this Techno Spy Music. As I run as a Ninja in my Butlers Uniform being James Bond on this Bike, man, life is great.

I highly recommend this bike. Also, because it is a machine you don't have to look at an animals butt. No offense to my Red Hare but that will be reserved for my Kung Fu (Monk in Cowboy gear) Cowboy among other classes.

I always forget that some mounts have their own music. I turned it off years ago because the constant chocobo music annoyed me, and have never cared enough to turn it back on.

If they'd only allow you to hear the "rented" chocobo theme when riding your personal chocobo then I'd be fine with it. The personal chocobo theme feels a bit overdone and too grand.

Maybe offer a way to select music for your mounts based on what mounts you've accumulated? So, say, since I have the SDS Fenrir I could choose Crazy Motorcycle Chase as my default mount tune?

Sorry, got a bit off topic there. I love the mount too. My only beef is that it's really awkward when flying because it literally doesn't change to indicate that it could/should support actual flight. It's kind of humorous, but I suppose the flying motorcycle in Harry Potter was literally just a motorcycle that could fly.

Same. It's a shame because when I got on the Magitek Armor and heard Terra's Theme from FFVI while on Coerthas, I got a massive fangasm. It would be nice if we could turn the mount music off individually (still with a general switch, in case we just wanted to turn everything off).

Pretty much my take. They release these new mounts on the Mogstation only to have crappy music played with them.

I don't know, I kinda like Borderless, the default flying mount theme (it's actually a remix of the Keeper of the Lake dungeon/Mor Dhona themes, fitting because of Midgardsormr who of course the player gets as an actual mount near the end of HW). But more choice and variety is always a good thing.

Either way, I think Borderless most suits both Middy and the Griffin - I could fly around the Lochs for hours on my griffin to that. :3
