PS4: Cannot get to the launcher anymore

So, today after coming back from visiting family I cant open FFXIV. When I click on it it starts to open, shows the WoL+Lyse splash art and then bounces me back to the PSN menu without an error code or any other indication of whats going on. holding the PS button for the quick menu shows me that FFXIV is open for a short moment before vanishing again while that happens.

I have tried reinstalling the game, power cycling the console, rebuilding the database and renewing liscences. The odd thing is FFXIV is the only game affected, every other game and application function as they should

Update: have done a wipe of the PS4s data (minus the OS) and reinstalled, did not work. did a full wipe including the OS, reinstalled that via USB, reinstalled the game and it still does not work, same issue as before. I really could use some help, and it seems like FFXIV is the source of the problem since everything else works as it should

UPDATE: I replaced my PS4s HDD with a new SSD and it solved the issue. seems it was just a hard drive problem!
