Hanging people

The Devs have a weird fascination with leaving npcs hanging onto ledges

2.X i have no clue if there was npcs hanging around but could have been possisble
3.X various npcs in idlyshire were clinging for dear life every patch in new locations
4.0/4.1- didn't pay much attention so may have missed their locations
4.2 - Au ra was clinging outside Hein's residence window in the Enclave
4.3 - Doman hanging off a tower building just behind gate that now leads to garden/farmland/barracks
4.4 - Weirdly found an npc in Coerthus Western Highlands X 9.5, Y 11.4

This is a weird fascinatin to have and i wonder what other poor souls have been left hanging out for 3 to 4 months

It's mostly been for fun, I think. The Doman in the enclave who has been hanging off buildings is currently folded over a branch in a tree, muttering about the cat standing on the crates nearby. There's a dude still hanging off some scaffolding in Ishgard, too.

Our job as players is to find the newest dangling victim every patch!

Man what's going to be the next thread where you think it'll be about one thing only to have it be nowhere near that thought. The npc during the Idlyshire reconstruction was the same poor person.

Pretty sure that was supposed to be the same NPC, every time. He even said something like, "I can't believe it happened again!" after the first (second?) Idylshire update.

4.4 - Weirdly found an npc in Coerthus Western Highlands X 9.5, Y 11.4

Oh he's been there for a while, I remember seeing him back in HW when I was doing weekly Gathering Collectables. Fun fact about him, if you travel a little bit back and forth he will actually fall and curse the powdered snow.

4.4 has a guy at the doman enclave who was chasing a cat, and is now stuck up in a tree, by the training area.

I honestly do like these though its a fun little game of Where's Waldo every patch.
