Chocobo Racing: How long to reach Pedigree 9?

Hello, I've been on and off with Chocobo Racing, at some point I have taken up doing 1 race a day, and now my current chocobo has a Pedigree Level of 5, and Rank 28.

Ok, it's kind of random how well I do at a race, and the EXP gained increases greatly when racing with other players, but even so, could I get some general hint as to how long it would take me to reach Pedigree Level 9?

Well depends on how much time you spend playing.

I think you need around 5 - 6 hours to level up a chocobo from rank 1 to 40 o.ô; That's 18 hours for pedigree 6, 7 and 8, plus the remaining part of your pedigree 5 chocobo... well... around 20 hours in total? With 1 race a day, wich takes around 4 minutes, you will need 300 days.

It took me about 3-4 weeks, a few hours each day, to get a 5 Star 9th Pedogree bird.

Right now I’m slowing down so I don’t burn myself out as I rank it up to r50.

Hopefully it’s all been worth it and the MGP will start rolling in

Took me about 1 or 2 weeks with only racing a few hours at night.
Was going for a super sprinter so I didn't bother going for prefect outside of endurance and stamina, just stuck with the bird that came after my just OK G9. Kinda wish I had gone for prefect speed instead of leaving it at 3 stars cause sometimes things get dicey with other PC racers or I get another Super Sprinter that stays just outta reach but anytime I race solo it's a win.

It'll be worth it. When you get a Pedigree 9 in the top tier races you can get 1008 MGP a win for first place, and around 700-800 for second/third. You'll make a lot of MGP back, even more so when you do the special challange races where you can win tens of thousands of MGP (I would highly suggest waiting for the make it rain campaign for that though, since it'll make the rewards that much better, as you get almost 500k MGP From all of them put together, in which FC buffs help the amount too)
