From a certain standpoint, I can understand why the devs implemented it in ARR, but now that we're in SB, it seems incredibly unnecessary, given that there are more than enough ways to level up combat classes, and limited ways to do so with crafters and gatherers. I think it's time that the devs look into either getting rid of leve allowances altogether, or at least increasing how much you can get per day. If I recall, there aren't any leves in SB (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). Going through ARR now, and after Ixali quests, spending hours grinding out 10 levels between my miner and botanist is just a slog. Worthwhile in the end, I'm sure, but it's still a slog that seems unnecessary now that we're in SB.
