Moving to a Japanese server

Hey guys first time using the forum and need some advice. I work during the evening so I don’t get to play until around 5am. There’s very little people awake and playing end game content so I can’t progress my savages. Should I move to a Japanese server with a English community like tombery or EU servers to find more people to play with?

Depends on what your priorities are. As made clear, your main desire is to progress and to push content. If you place that way over having constant meaningful interaction, then I'd personally say to go for it. If the language barrier as a whole is going to be a bit too overwhelming, I'd suggest taking some time to think about if it's really worth it to you.

Make an alt on a JP server you're thinking of transferring to and check out a few things before spending money to move your main.

1. Can you find an English FC you like and has space?
2. Is your connection good enough to do Savage?
3. Is the language barrier for DF going to bother you? (JP servers have majority JP comms, EN is a minority and 'JP ONLY' is still a thing)
4. Are there enough EN people running content at your play time to make the move worth it?

I mentioned this in another similar thread, but also consider your ping. It's not fun or good for anyone if you are trying to run high end content like savage or extreme and lag is screwing you over.
