I'm game for it.
I'm game for it.
When the game's story becomes self-aware:
There's already ratings or whatnot with the medals above your avatar.
Nobody uses them like this, I've never seen them called into account like what you're fearing.

The medals indicate being active on the forum. It's hardly something one can use to back up their argument. However, I have seen some people use lines like "you don't raid so how would you know that" to try and silence others. Achievement points show how much someone has played this game, so I can foresee it being used in debates about content consumption and longevity. "The game is not stale for you only because you have less than 5k achievement points."
Not that it matters, though. People who would take apart their fellow players instead of flawed reasoning aren't worth engaging.

To be fair, that's a legitimate argument in some cases. Quite often I've seen bad advice thrown around. It'll get people by for lower content, and may give the immediate resolution someone's looking for. But wouldn't ever hold up in endgame content. It's better to get whatever is in question resolved properly rather than some lazy alternative unsuited for endgame.
That being said, I don't have my o12s kill yet, so no achievement for me![]()

If the advice is bad, it's bad because there is a better way of doing things and not because the advice giver doesn't raid. Comments should stand or fall on their own merits.

Seems like a waste of development to me, but then again we have pagos so why the hell not
Im up for it just if seasonal achivements count as 0 in total input. Woudnt be fair for new players or not that new to work on something u cant never complete due seasonal events that cant be achieved anymore.
"Jeez... that guy's dick is massive... mine is so small."As the title suggests, I'd like for people to have the option to display the total number of achievement points that they've acquired on the character they use to post with.
It'd be an additional incentive to tackle them in-game and it's also make it easier to identify fellow achievement hunters! Some MMO's have such a feature already, so that's another argument for it I suppose.
Yeah, lets have dick measuring contests OUTSIDE of instances... JFC...
Yeah But then that wouldn't be fair on existing players if there achievements counted as zero..
If your going to do it it needs to count every achievement. Or none at all.
There's absolutely nothing unfair about a player having an achievement for a season event they did 4 years ago when someone else didn't play back then and thus doesn't have it.
I barely even touch seasonal events think the last one I did was the go go posing rangers.
I'm not worried about the system being abused. The moderators typically crack down hard on needless aggression, after all.
