I'm afraid that it'd have more problems than gains.

Sure, there are people that would enjoy it. But there are many people that would quit instantly upon entering a duty if the job was not to their liking. And you implied changing to classes of lower than max level too...so someone could be dropped to a class they don't even have geared that they tried and hated. There is no way to remove an unwanted class after all.

And what about rewards?! If you use class below max level you cannot get the "new" tomestones. But what if someone cares about that?! They gamble on whether they'll get a max-level class or leave if they do not to not "use up" the roulette?! It cannot give the max level tomestones on a non-max-level class after all. They are a reward for doing a dungeon on a class that doesn't get experience. If you could get both experience and tomestone, the roulette would be broken. If you could not get experience, people that are still leveling some classes would be the ones to quit if it did hit on a 70 job.

So you could say to limit it to max-level classes...but then there are people that level all classes but never want to play them after reaching max. Whatever the reason they had to level them. They will just quit and there's nothing stopping them.

All in all, that roulette would promote quitting on arrival way too much. It is not worth it. The amount of drama it would cause when DPS would spend half an hour in a queue only for the healer and/or tank to instantly leave the dungeon just cause they used this roulette and didn't like their class/role would far overshadow any "fun".

So yes, just use a dice. You can buy a 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 20 sided dice. Using two 10 sided you can make a "100-sided dice". Just divide your jobs among the numbers and voila. It's a much less toxic-inducing method that is devoid of the reward...but also headaches.
