Been trying to visit the houses of those near the tops of this forum. Love the individual character each one has. Good work on making them feel welcoming but also interesting.

Thanks for helping make the FFXIV community a fun and welcoming place. If you're not sure you have (and you very likely have), make it a point to be patient or helpful the next time you log in so that you can know you've made a difference.
If you're on the Aether data center, congratulations! I might be your nextexciting adventurehealer in the Duty Finder. Please look forward to it.
Got to see a few more today. You folks are really creative. Not sure if it seems odd visiting houses this way, but it's been fun getting out into more community-based places and seeing the individuality of FCs and players.

Yeah there are a lot of nice houses. I like to wander around in different wards just looking at houses.
Definitely not weird! Thank you so much for visiting the Space Cats house! <3
Yeah, I like the FFXIV community but engaging in it beyond your own FC, a hunt linkshell, and maybe a static to boot for raiders can be... awkward?... at times. You can throw out a friendly emote in a major city or maybe get a small conversation when in a duty finder party but community stuff, even small stuff, based on/in a specific world is either rare or I am just out of the loop.
It makes sense that forums like this are used to recruit for FCs, themed link-shells, and raid statics but it might be fun to have cross-FC mixers or ward house parties or whatever as well. But then again, there might just not be of sufficient interest to people, which is understandable. I do recall though how nice people on some worlds were when Stormblood launched and many of us were stuck on Raubauhn Ex. People who had gotten by him and unlocked flying used their two-seater mounts to ferry people to a settlement to get attuned to a new Aetheryte and grab an aether current. People on Faerie did this as well and moreover the queues were orderly, calm, and friendly.

I would be interested in cross fc events. I think it would be fun if several of us could come together to host community events.
