It's not like they aren't going to tell us eventually. For all we know they are still working out the logistics of it. Personally, I would rather be given a heads up about a huge change when it's a long way off and have to wait to find out the minutiae than have it dumped on me, details and all, on much shorter notice.

I am genuinely keeping an interested eye on this as well, mainly because I may return to the UK next year; which, inevitably means that I will likely switch to EU servers. The upside is that I'll get to hang out more with my mates, most of whom are predominantly EU players (as is most of the members of my current FC)... plus , my new schedule will also allow me to chat more often with my friends in Japan.

The downside is the whole sequence of performing the transfer seems to be a bit of an iffy business right now. The free transfer being offered during a certain time window is nonetheless appreciated.
