DoH 70... now what?

Youre almost there! And dont worry about 4.1, its not a hard goal to hit. Starting with patch 3.1 and ever since theyve limited MSQ quests per patch to 5-10(in the 2.x series they were closer to 20 - this limits the "100 quests to advance expansions" style complaint). Without spoiling much, i seem to remember that patch having one MSQ dungeon and one solo duty. As this is your first combat class to 70, some quick tips to help you along. Do your level 70 class quest. This will get you a new ability and a full left-side set of gear + weapon. You might need a couple upgraded pieces to meet the ilvl requirement for the 4.1 dungeon. If you have any centurio seals(HW and SB A and S ranked hunts) you can buy some pieces from the centurio vendor in rhalgrs/kugane. Otherwise, finishing the "Stormblood" quest opens up the tome vendors in Rhalgrs. They sell i360 gear for mendacity tomes and i390 gear for genesis tomes. Both tomes come from almost any activity you do at level 70(roulettes, dungeons, trials, raids, PotD/HoH, treasure maps, hunts, eureka... probly more that im forgetting). You can also get some dungeon drops to help a little - every level 70 dungeon has gear that it can drop(level 50 and 60 each had some dungeons with none), and there were 3 you could do before patch 4.1(meaning they had lower required levels to enter).

Yup! Hit 70 last night, and as soon as I did I upgraded my weapon and a few pieces from the Centurio seals in Kugane, then did the class quest (which was a blast the third time around once I figured out the mechanics). Good thing, I'm sure the gear helped, and what I bought is obviously better than the set I got as a reward (and it looks a heck of a lot better, although the weapon from the reward looks better - time to glamour it).

Did some Idyllshire collectible turn-ins for a new tool and piece or two for a great bump in stats. Now its time to unlock the other collectible collectors so I can do more (pratically free) yellow scrip turn-ins. 12 now per week I think you said?

Yup, 12 total per week and no more then 6 per source. So you can either fully supply 2 of the girls each week(so far theyre all girls, the next custom deliveries client hasnt been announced yet) or you can partially supply all 3. Kurenai pays the best overall(Zhloe and M'naago pay the same amount since a recent patch, but a Zhloe or M'naago on bonus pays more then a normal week Kurenai), so leveling her rank up is a good play. If Zhloe is at the highest rank already you could do both of the other girls on weeks that Zhloe isnt offering the bonus(with bonus zhloe plus either of the others on the weeks she does have said bonus). Or you could talk to both of the new ones and decide whos cause is more important to you and help them first. Either way, its free scrips if you do it right(if you get the collectable to the highest level on the first try then the gil you are paid is more then the cost of materials - not sure how the math breaks down at lower collectable ratings or with crafting botches).
