    DoH 70... now what?

There was absolutely nothing in game as to what's next, but I'm guessing there's better gear as my chances are still pretty low.

It looks like yellow scrips are a thing, but I don't seem to be able to get any with the gear I have. I haven't been able to find any vendor selling right side gear, so its all level 60 still. Even if I did get some, I have no idea where to turn it in... scrip exchange only has blue and red categories.

Is there a guide for end game gathering or similar? Seems like SE really dropped the ball on it.

You can turn in yellow scrips in Idyllshire, Rhalgar's Reach, Tamamizu, Gridania, Ul'dah, and Limsa Lominsa.
So if you haven't found anywhere to turn them in you can't have been looking hard.

The level 60 red scrip gear is good enough for being able to earn yellow scrips. If you haven't unlocked Custom Delivieries yet you really should do so - it is one of the better sources for both Red and Yellow scrips.

There are plenty of player created guides for end game gathering and crafting. Google is your friend.

Yeah I've found plenty of guides like your post... vague imprecise claims with no backing information on the basic points.

Looks like you have to unlock custom deliveries in Rhalgar's Reach before yellow scrip system unlocks, so at least I can finally see the items.

I also managed to get 1 item off 1 of the 68 nodes, so I guess the 60 red scrip gear is technically good enough but its going to take quite a while at this rate.

First, I think you put your thread in the wrong section... This is the DoH forum, but you are referring to DoL.

Second, it seems to me that are missing the entire lvl 70 endgame of DoL. The most difficult items to gather currently requires as high as 1300 gathering points to gather. There is no way your level 60 or level 68 gear would allow you to do so...

You may want to take a look into this thread here. You may find your directions for endgame gathering:
    http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/f...threads/365455
(note: I have not updated the thread since patch 4.3. The patch 4.4 contents are not there. But I think it will take you awhile before you will be there yet.)

    Question about the yellow scrips:
I have two level 70 crafting classes - weaver and goldsmith (hit 70 yesterday). They're both in the augmented Idyllshire gear (and slowly gearing from the yellow scrips), from the red scrips obtained from collectibles and the orphanage turn-ins.
My main question is regarding the orphanage.. What a great way to get scrip fast, and now I'm 70, they get both yellow AND red. I've tried to piece together how custom collectibles work for SB.

There's another orphanage-like custom collectible (i.e. easy scrips) in Rhalgar's Reach, correct? I haven't finished the main SB MSQ yet, yet alone the first patch which is what I believe is needed to unlock that.
Once that is unlocked can you do BOTH (the orphanage in Idyllshire and "whatever" is unlocked in Rhalgar's Reach) for TWELVE (or more if R.R. has more) per week?

There are actually three customers for your weekly deliviries by now:

    Zhloe in Idleshire
M'naago in Rhalgrs Reach (you need to finish the story of 4.1 to unlock her, I believe)
Kurenai in Tamamizu (requires that you have M'naago unlocked and done the quest "The Two Princesses of Sui-No-Sato" - since that one unlocks Shisui, you most likely have done it)

Each girl will accept 6 items from you per week; you can turn in a total of 12 items - that means you can do in the full turn in for two of the girls (I usually check who gives me the best deals).

THANK YOU! Good to see this information in one place. I try to not seek out spoilers but I knew these things were around - was going batty figuring out how to unlock them.

They unlock after you finish "Return of the Bull" IDK if that's the end of 4.1 but it is close.

For Kurenai you also need a quest in the Li'l Rascals questline in Mor Dhona.

Yup. I did the Two Princesses quest yesterday, good to know about the Lil' Rascals line, I'll have to check into those.
I got up to (just about) the end of the original SB MSQ, "The Measure of His Reach" (the one right before Stormblood), and DOH!!! Need to be level 70 DOM/DOW to do that. No biggie, I'm 69 and 3/4 so just do a Roulette.
THEN I have the 4.1 material... bah.. I'll get there
