    I sincerely doubt you'll see many complaints given the complaints now are people hate they can't use their level 70 abilities. I don't care about putting more work in, I'd rather put in that work so I can use Fell Cleave and Inner Release compared to spamming Inner Beast or sitting around Stance-less.

    Oh you will see threads where people start complaining that they have to do their complete 70 rotation just to do the dps of the other level 30 (for example) dps. Because thats how SE would've to balance this otherwhise people will start kicking players that are not level 70 because they hold them back in low level dungeons.

    Sure its annoying if you get synced down and can't use your skills, but the alternative is not better.

    I don't know why people are acting like this is some crazy impossible request. Pretty much any other game that has level-scaling/mentoring does it in a way that doesn't involve neutering your character.

    I'd like to see this happen, personally. I don't care about the damage. I just don't want to be stuck in another dungeon and having to choose between spamming Fast Blade -> Savage Blade for 30 minutes or stabbing myself in the face to end the tedium.

    Not going to happen, as this wouldn't be nearly fair to the actual lower level newer players.

    You wanna practice your level 70 rotation, go do some level 70 content.

    Being level sync or spell lock off does suck I agree but I can live with that.

    What I wish they would change are the rewards. Let say your a level 50, 60, even 65 level character and you get stuck in a level 15 dungeon (tends to happen to me alot) yes you get a good amount of xp but that it. Leveling wise there not very rewarding when it come to gear and if you have a whole party of sync players in said same dungeon then it even worse and all that gear get wasted.

    I would like it if the gear reward could be sync up to what your level is. Now I'm not saying they should reward level 70 player that way or take away from max level player or the new dungeon/raids, but it be nice when leveling a new class/job.

    That's not going to happen either. They want higher level players to progress primarily by running higher level content, not just keep themselves geared up by running Sastasha for days on end. Daily roulettes are enough of a concession on this.

    That's kind of how RPGs work in general; you start outleveling around a town, stuff gradually becomes not worthwhile, you move on to the next town.

    Even speaking for just myself, there are times where I don't mind getting a low level dungeon in roulette, and other times where I want something where more of my abilities are available. I'm not sure how roulettes work, but I am sure it can be arranged that if all players are synced, certain content is eliminated from the roulette. I'm pretty sure we could all live with that. What gets to me though is that roulettes almost always throw you in some kind of ARR content, and it gets extremely tedious. I despised it when they combined 50 and 60 roulettes, and they will likely get consolidated again next expansion. T_T

    This is one of my bigger issues. If everyone is 60+, why are they getting put in Tam-Tara? Yes, it's a "roulette", but that's not fun for anyone involved.

    Veteran healers don't care if we need to heal, but right now we don't. We want interesting things to do during the downtime other than a 30s dot and a single filler spell that hasn't changed from lvl 4 to lvl 90.
    Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.[/LIST]

    The sad roulettes is when everyone is capped but then you realize you're only doing Cutters cry or Quarn because one person hasn't hit 41 yet to be able to do Stone Vigil. For me that's the real rub is when you get a place and go ok everyone's synced down is the game just trolling or is someone not high enough yet to be able to the next dungeon. To me the roulette's math needs to get better because it gets boring when I get aurum vale for a whole week or Amdapor Keep/Hard for most of the week. It gets to the point where when I get things like Neverreap I celebrate.
