I was kidding btw. Obviously no one can know with any certainty if someone is botting. >.>;Hey now.. some of us work for a living.. and bring our laptops in.... and have laid back jobs where we can play a game while we work....
The only thing i've really done is level my miner to 30 to get the gobbue mount.. which meant hitting points for hours on end. It was boring, but it gave me something to do while talking to clients/doing support tickets. And sadly was more fun than doing the same leve's or grinding endlessly.
Though no one ever sent me a tell ; ;..
I got emoted at once.. said hi, and they laughed and ran off. My online experience with xiv has been less social than playing fallout sadly. Probably why my "month without logging in" is comming up soon. No point to log in if you're playing a single player game.
People can bot and be at the keyboard... people were complaining about turbo controllers being used to craft. Its all the same really. Its just a difference if someone is there or not.
I had a sort of strange friend in ffxi.. for some reason he could never kill maat as a taru blackmage (he tried at least 15 times as i was always going with him to get testi's). So he spent all his time gardening (with 15 mules) and crafting. He wrote a script that he would run when windy was in first and he could buy mythril ore at the airship vendor and craft them into ingots. He'd do that and chat (as he had everything mouse driven), or watch movies.
He got the idea to do that after he saw me and my fiancee(at the time) playing wow in a "break" from ffxi. You could queue your crafts up, and go do something else.. So when i asked why he was arguably botting, he said he just added a feature that should of been in the game... guess i couldn't argue.
