    base stats class to job carried on.. explaination?

    So i was talking a a friend of mine about how he could place the points whre he wanted on the classes and pretty much be a magical marauder .

    Now lets say he wants to be a magical marauder for some reason and he puts int str and mnd and vit on his stats.. When he switches to war.. He will have the stats from his magical marauder . Instead he shouldnt he be abled to allot points on his war so he can do his job correctly?.

    I read on the notes that points carrie over from class when switching to a job. If so then this kinda kills the armoury system because he will have to allot the points for war on his mrd giving him no freedom but to equip skills..which will be bland without the stats.

    Other not so far fetch example would me arc to bard... Im arc.. I got piety dex and str as my main stats.. Now that i have to switch to brd i would benefit from (dex str pie) to (vit mnd pie) I read we will be able to allot points freely later on but it seams kinda tideous i have to do it every time i switch back and foward beteween class to job.

    Dont the classes just have concrete stats and the point allotment allows a minor supplement to the few stats you want to boost? I cant see a magic marauder happening since they always get boost of strength and vit when leveling, and then you only have a few points to bolster stats after that (unless i'm mistaken), leaving magic stats not really worth boosting.

    If he allots most of the points given into int he m attack would me stronger. Taken it wont be as strong as a thm or cjn nuke but istronger than a regular marauder casting . Any way if you dont relate to te magical marauder idea use the archer to bard

    I think he's referring to healing not offensive. Atleast I hope he is.

    Guys guys... My point was not about if magical marauder would me a uber mix of stats.. Its about points been carried from class to jobs and gymping the freedom you have as a class because you would have to think about allooting point for use in the job.

    I believe stat re-allocation should be present in 1.21. I might be off on that though.

    I think so. You probably wont have to allocate points over and over again, but the first time you change to a job, you'll probably be able to use all the points that you would have accumulated by that level anyway.

    Or maybe not...really I think there is just too much still in the air...which is why I cant wait for the patch notes to hit.

    This is what i belived too but the latest job notes states that the stats carry iver from class to job... Which really would suck if someone would like to try crazy stuff like magical marauder on their class but be serious on their war jobs and allot the proper points.... So far se said that.. Claas stats carry over to job ...
